Chapter 108 : My Christmas stroll

As I strolled through the streets on Christmas, I was mesmerized by the colorful lights that adorned my sight. The attractive school, beautifully decorated and adjacent to a delicately adorned church, tempted me to explore. The school's exterior shone brightly, featuring a towering Christmas tree with a blue-green glow that seemed to touch the sky. The entry arch, covered with fairy lights, exuded a warm and inviting ambiance.

Four large, magnificent stars adorned with red, pink, blue, and green lights hung majestically, while golden lights enveloped the entire area. As I wandered through the grounds, I came across a live nativity scene model, complete with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, kings, shepherds, angels, and more. Above all these, The Jesus statue that stood straight and tall, its grandeur and beauty amazed me.

Further exploration revealed a beautifully crafted fountain and another vibrant model depicting the night of Jesus' birth. The entire setting was thought-provoking and visually stunning. The surrounding big trees, adorned with hundreds of strings of fairy lights, added to the magical atmosphere, creating an unforgettable Christmas experience.

Let me begin my first blog with a quote, " Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom"- Aristotle I am Alena, I am a normal girl with ordinary talents. If that is the way I introduce myself, what makes me different and what makes me unique? This is a personal book review of Red Verses by Pearlina Gracelyn. Pearlina is my best friend, but did I truly know how deep her thoughts ran? No. While reading this book, it felt as if I was not just turning the pages but unveiling the chapters of her life. It’s raw, real, and straight from her heart, something you can feel with every word. The words are beautifully yet simply crafted, resonating deeply with the reader. This is not just a collection of poems but an outpouring of emotions printed onto paper. I could sense how much courage and vulnerability it must have taken for her to write these pieces, and that makes the book even more profound.
