Chapter 36 : Handwritten Letters

The most beautiful gift a person can offer is a handwritten letter. It makes you feel loved and cared for in a way that no other gift can. The effort and thought put into every word, the personal touch of the handwriting, and the emotions carried through the ink make it truly special. You only take the time to write a letter when you genuinely love and admire someone, and nothing can replace the joy of receiving such a gift—not even the luxurious presents you've dreamed of.

One of the most treasured gifts I’ve ever received was a letter from my friend. It wasn’t just a few lines scribbled on paper; it was a carefully crafted message that spoke to my heart. Her words were filled with warmth, memories, and love, capturing the essence of our friendship in a way no material gift could. As I read her letter, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and connection. It reminded me of the value of simple, thoughtful gestures and how deeply they can touch us.

Her letter was more than just words on paper—it was a reflection of the bond we share, and every time I look at it, I’m reminded of how fortunate I am to have someone like her in my life. It’s these small, heartfelt moments that truly make life beautiful. The letter was beautifully packed with a brown sheet and decorated with red hearts, adding to its charm. Materialistic gifts may bring momentary happiness, but a handmade or handwritten gift from someone you love speaks volumes about the depth of your place in their heart.

I also remember asking my mom why our beautiful tradition of exchanging letters and greeting cards has faded over time, to which she just smiled. My mom has a whole box filled with letters and greeting cards she received from her mother, father, brother, and other relatives. I wish we still had that tradition today—it feels like such a meaningful way to stay connected and show love but let us be happy with what we have today and cherish the present.

Let me begin my first blog with a quote, " Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom"- Aristotle I am Alena, I am a normal girl with ordinary talents. No. While reading this book, it felt as if I was not just turning the pages but unveiling the chapters of her life. It’s raw, real, and straight from her heart, something you can feel with every word. The words are beautifully yet simply crafted, resonating deeply with the reader. This is not just a collection of poems but an outpouring of emotions printed onto paper.
